Kieran Roberts playing in the centres this week broke the defensive line to score in the same corner Nick missed the conversion and Kendall lead 10-0. Macquarie then began to find some form and centre Josh James scored in the corner the try was not converted for a 10-4 score line. This try lifted Macquarie who went on to score twice before half time to lead 14-10 at the break. Kendall were first to score in the second half with Eddie Campbell scoring to level the score at 14 all. Macquarie were not to be denied and scored two tries within two minutes to lead 24-14.
